Notes: Kim Dokja adores Han Suyeong. He is bad at showing it and honestly doesn't WANT to show it because he doesn't want anyone to ever target her because of him, but he simply would explode every star in the sky if it were for her sake. He thinks she is smart and capable and his right hand in crime and having her around is mainly why he is just not too stressed overall about anything going on because there is something nothing he can't handle if she is around. He has absolute confidence in their companionship and knows that they have a relationship that contains love, but he is completely oblivious to the fact that it potentially could be romantic.

Notes: Dokja feels like at this point that he understands Kuroro's 'character' well enough that he sincerely trusts him, and in many ways relies on him. He often pokes at Kuroro's personhood because he feels like it is something his 'character' needs, but also because he thinks it would be good if Kuroro didn't regard himself as less than a person. He knows in some ways this is cruel but he also believes Kuroro can handle it, and because he feels they are unified in many ways he doesn't worry too much about overstepping.

Notes: Zwei unfortunately reminds Dokja just enough of his own trauma that he is able to genuinely empathize with her a lot and yet not enough (mostly because she's a cute murder girl) that it doesn't trigger his self loathing to look at her. As a result he has infinite patience with her and just wants to carry her under his arm all the time and pet her hair but has somehow refrained. He now feels confident enough in their relationship that he has started to set higher expectations for her.

He loves her like he does Zwei but doesn't feel quite as close to her, but he is also much more worried about her than he is about Zwei because her existence seems a lot more fragile to him. He wants her to be free to understand herself independently of Zwei and it's on his to-do list to figure out a way to make sure that her life isn't dependent on Zwei's power.

He had suspected that she was much stronger and more deliberate about herself than she let on, but the status effect combination confirmed that pretty well. This will make it easier for him to bully her in the future as he feels he has a better understanding of her character. And that's good because he understands she will likely continue to bully him as well.

Notes: Natsuno Yuuki is a GOOD (if slightly feral) KID. Dokja worries about him a little and trusts him a bit more. He doesn't actually want to rely too heavily on Natsuno despite how capable he clearly is, because he's had enough character development of his own to not actually unload horrible pain or murder onto children more than really necessary, but he appreciates that the kid has sweet skills and isn't afraid to use them. He suspects that Natsuno died in his world (though it's unclear if that's a vampire death or a full death) and hopes he figures some shit out while trapped in murdergames. Notes: Angelfish is vibrant and intelligent and fearless in a way that Dokja respects a lot, even if he isn't always sure how to deal with it. You would think he would LEARN because many of the women from his own story are like that, but in fact it mostly just means he knows he's weak there. He likes her a lot for this, and it means he feels he can trust her more easily. He's fascinated with her love of art because it runs so parallel to so many important things in his life and yet he has never thought of it as such, and it's interesting to see such a sturdy person be so passionate about it.

Notes: People may not have noticed, but Dokja is pretty gay for Curtain. Dokja himself has only just begun to notice, mostly due to the incredibly difficult time he has conceptualizing people caring for him in ways that are not INCREDIBLY well established and clearly labeled. However, all homo aside, Curtain once beat Dokja over the head with the fact that they are friends and he cares and since then Dokja has been willing to beat up numerous gods and also browbeat Curtain to getting his shit together because now Curtain's story having a sad ending is simply unacceptable.
Team: Finch
Notes: People may not have noticed, but Dokja is pretty gay for Curtain. Notes: Jesper is a fascinating experience with someone who both registers to Dokja as absolutey a child, and in need of decent adults in his life, and yet honestly more emotionally intelligent and worldwise than Dokja himself is. Dokja recognizes Jesper as a kid from a hard knock life who learned how to get up, dust himself off, and a either get even or get out. And it's something Dokja genuinely respects and wants to support. He does not really know what to do FOR Jesper though, so he often is awkardly unsure of how to engage with him when it's not a business transaction.
Team: Finch

Martin and Dokja ALMOST got off on the right foot, but then Dokja was too smugly all-knowing and detached from Martin's feelios, and Martin was too ready to dismiss Dokja as something he only kind of is, and instead they irritated each other until Martin was ready to set himself and his team on fire just to spite Dokja. It worked, and Dokja has learned his lesson about fucking around with Martin, but he also still doesn't like him and doesn't trust him and isn't sorry and will probably just avoid him for the time being.

He is glad that Kaz is now on Jamil's team and likely will discourage the kind of dumb shit Jamil has been pulling until now, though. Because Dokja does want to see Jamil survive this and he's pretty sure continuously throwing himself into the blender is not the way to do it.

He appreciates that Eddie seems to be adapatable but not particularly reactionary.

Notes: Gojo Satoru is mostly a constant headache for Dokja, who has no idea how to navigate him and generally finds a lot of the shit he does or talks about frustrating. He doesn't dislike him, he isn't really able to fathom disliking him due to his importantance to Curtain, but he feels like they are never able to communicate and are constantly frustrated with each other. He trusts Gojo a great deal with very specific things, and not at all with just about everything else. At the same time he knows he has the heart of a protagonist and must be a 'pretty good person', so he is supportive of Gojo deeping his relationships with both Suyeong and Curtain.
