Pretty normal looking Korean dude. Tends to wear a black overcoat and grey button ups and slacks. Kind of that casual 'I keep my wardrobe professional but simple so I never have to think about what to wear'.
His black coat has storm cloud lining.
If anyone is familiar with his Demonic Squid youtube show, there he is PNGtuber who has a little black squid with red horns and wings.
As of Day 212 he usually has SOME dragon parts. You can see the FULL look here. Typically he has at least the hands and most days he also has the tail. I will try to remember to put this in his top levels. See Blessings for more details.

Limelight Info
Powers
Liar Liar
When he calls someone a 'Liar' in reponse to something they have said, he can tell if what he was told was in fact a lie or not.
If he was correct in calling someone a liar, for a period of one day he can control them once in a way proportional to the lie they told.
E.G. If they simply lied about being 'fine', he can probably only make them do something small like pinch themselves/someone else. But if they lied about truly loving him, he could make them do something strongly against their best interest.
People cannot be made to do something they are physically unable to do, and it CAN be resisted by those with strong will.
If Booker calls someone a liar when they had NOT lied, the power rebounds on him, with exactly the same properties/they can control HIM. However, there is no way for them to know this (he does not advertise it) but sometimes people do stumble upon it.
He can also choose to not use the 'control' part of the power, as long as he doesn't issue any 'commands', and it will wear off after a day.
BeLIEve Ink
He bleeds ink.
If someone uses the ink to write, they will believe whatever they wrote for one day.
If someone drinks the ink, they will believe anything they are told for one day.
Reading something someone ELSE wrote does not have any effect.
His ink does not have any effect on himself (written or ingested).
50% Scaly
Currently an UNCONTROLLED blessing, when Booker is MAD he develops dragon parts. The more mad, the more parts he gets. Parts will linger until he goes to sleep even if he doesn't stay mad.
Part gain order is: Hands > Tail > Feet > ■ ■ > Scales on Neck/Face > Eyes > Teeth > Wings > Horns > Fire(?)*
His dragon parts are all of a RED dragon, with snakelike scales and structure. Hands have black talons in place of fingernails and scaly but still have functional digits, dragon feet are large and wholly shaped like more dragony feet with talons on the toes. Tail is large and fat and at least 5 feet long.
ART OF FULL SCALY HERE.

Born as Reid Solo to a semi famous (but more rich than famous) family in Siren's Melodies. His parents died tragically in a fire attributed to a serial arsonist at the time. This would've been public knowledge and he was on a few shows as a 9 year old asked to talk about the tragedy.
Disappeared from any public life for a while (trouble fostering, then orphanage) but reappeared at age 16 telling the story of how ACTUALLY his parents were terrible people using his Blessing for profit and his extended family fostered and manipulated him to steal his inheritance. This was a much bigger story than just his parent's tragic deaths, and he milked it pretty hard, appearing on talk shows, radio shows, podcasts etc pretty regularly for a couple of years talking about his abuse in some detail before the story dried up.
This burned all of his bridges with Siren's Melodies, and he was family-less for a while before being picked up by Cirrus. He renamed to Booker Storm and basically fell off the public radar.
A few years later a PNGTuber named Demonic Squid goes viral for sensationalizing gossip, often targeting Siren's Melodies. Demonic Squid's show is one part actual news and one part extrapolating and storytelling. He brands himself as a 'Pop Culture Forecaster', and he basically tries to predict what is going to happen like very annoying weatherman. It's more about entertainment than actual news but he plays it very straight so how much people believe him is really up to them.
Demonic Squid is annoying, will use clickbait, enjoys trolling and hate clicks.
MOST PEOPLE would not know that that Booker Storm is Demonic Squid, but he HAS been doxxed a few times so the info is out there if people want to find it.
IF YOU WANT YOUR CHARACTER TO HAVE HAD GOSSIP SPREAD BY DEMONIC SQUID AT SOME POINT, JUST HIT ME UP. His only real rule is he doesn't talk about kids or relationship drama. Everything else is fair game.
(Or if you want to assume your character is a fan of the show, also good!)

Booker taken night of 149]
4 - Turns 334-341 of Three Ways to Survive an Apocalypse
It's Kim Dokja's last year of highschool, and the bullying that had trickled off as he got older, learned how to keep his head down and duck away from it, has spiked up again.
He thinks it is because everyone is approaching the end of their rope.
For most, it's too late to change their futures. The good students had secured their future, and the bad would soon face their fate. And for those with nothing to look forward to in their lives, at least there was a quiet kid whose books they could steal, feet they could step on, stomach they land a few blows into if they caught him alone.
Dokja already knows he will be lucky to get into a middling, forgettable university at best. There was no making himself more appealing at this point, no changing years of bad habits to become a golden student. The best he can do is not lower his chances further by causing a scene. So he sticks to public areas in the school as much as possible, and thinks about using his rest year to work full time, and how that at least would be better than sitting through endlessly boring days at school.
During classes where he is supposed to be studying, he instead reads and re-reads; the recent chapters of Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse have been quiet novel.
Yu Junghyeok, after reaching the new heights of scenario 51 -- the furthest he had gotten in the last hundred turns -- had watched his party fall one by one due to nothing more than the machinations of an unnamed dokkaebi who felt the constellations were hungering for a good tragedy.
It was... heartless in its carelessness. Often constellations had targeted Yu Junghyeok for his strength, for his arrogance, for his defiance. And the protagonist had died for those failings many times. But the massacre of Turn 333 could not be blamed on any failing of Yu Junghyeok or the rest of the party. Yu Junghyeok had filed away the rough edges of each of his companions, taken the time to build up their understanding of each other and their loyalties, and been generous with praise (for him) and the result had been one of the cleanest runs so far. Each scenario was handled with finesse and grace never before seen in the Star Stream.
But such flawlessness was not what the constellations were there to see. And some had even begun to whisper that Yu Junghyeok and his allies could not possibly be doing so well without some secret backing.
And so one nameless dokkaebi pushed the agenda of what a great twist it would be, to see such powerful heroes face absolute and unexpected defeat. For the constellations who were so frustrated with Yu Junghyeok's skyrocketing rise to power to see him fall.
It was a rigged game, and Dokja would never know of the manufactured tragedy created the response the dokkaebi had hoped for, because the story always followed the protagonist.
After watching the faithful Yi Jihye, and sturdy Yi Hyeonseong, and wild Kim Namwun die one after another along side countless others, Turn 333 became Turn 334 and Yu Junghyeok once again found himself on a subway train. A gloomily dressed man, four years younger than he had been a moment ago.
Every time he returned to this car, he was wracked with pain and fury that he sometimes managed to contain and other times did not, but without fail the others in the car always sensed something was wrong and backed away from him.
Lately in Ways to Survive, the first scenario had been skipped with a simple line: "Yu Junghyeok awoke on the train, and resolved the first scenario efficiently."
Of course it would be tedious to describe the same horror over and over again.
But 334 was different. Yu Junghyeok did not handle the first scenario efficiently. Instead he... pulled the emergency stop on the train. Nearly ripped the door open as he exited. The bomber he had killed countless times before this looked on in amazement as someone made a bigger ruckus than him.
Yu Junghyeok, thus, was caught on a train station when the first scenario began, and rather than participate properly, while others were still questioning the reality of the situation, Yu Junghyeok hurled lively insults at the dokkaebi until his head was exploded as an example to others.
It was so brief and startling that Dokja had let out a confused laugh the first time he read it. In all of Yu Junghyeok's many cruel fates, he had never faced one so foolish as this. He had always been the one to brood and linger, too aware of the danger and too cool to lose his cool over such minor grievances. But in this moment of absolute heart ache, there is none of that.
Turn 334 ends as quickly as it had begun.
And the last few weeks of chapters had been much like this. Though Yu Junghyeok did not die so quickly or so rashly as he did in Turn 334, his actions become fiery and erratic. He mouths off to the dokkaebi, challenges the constellations, and refuses again and again to quell his anger just because that was the only way to survive.
Dokja was always somewhere in the process of rereading TWSA, but lately he just rereads these chapters again and again, torn between frustration with Yu Junghyeok's foolishness and enraptured by it. He could not deny that some part of his heart felt lighter every time Yu Junghyeok let his fury lash out.
It's because of this storyline that one day, when cornered in the bathroom by Minu Song, he too makes a different decision than "efficiently completing the scenario".
Minu Song was the highest level bully who had been making his hellish years of school just that much more awful at every opportunity. How much of the little money he possessed had gone into buying them snacks so he wouldn't have to endure the greater expense of having his school books go 'missing'? Or his uniform be torn beyond repair? How many bruises had he concealed over the years? How many humiliations had he quietly endured? Remember the pain of finally splurging on an older model phone, after an unexpected windfall, only to have the screen cracked within the week because Minu Song had seen him happily reading TWSA on his phone?
To efficiently clear the scenario, all Kim Dokja need do was bow and scrape a bit.
Buy some snacks.
Act small to help Minu Song endure the insecurities that had damaged his ego elsewhere.
But he thinks of Yu Junghyeok making a rude gesture at the constellations for the first time in more than three hundred turns.
So he mouths off. Poison spills out of him and he paints Minu Song a picture of his inevitable future. His grades that were even worse than Dokja's (because he was a bad student AND stupid) and how he was never going to amount to anything more than a highschool thug so no wonder he was afraid of what happened next.
Dokja does not even get halfway through his rant before Minu Song hits him hard enough that blood immediately fills his mouth, and then he is shoved back into the tile walls of the bathroom so there is no where to cringe away from the following blows.
He does fight. With nails and fists and feet, but much as a dokkaebi could explode Yu Junghyeok's head in the first scenario without a second thought, it truly takes no effort for the larger, stronger boy to pummel him until he cannot stand.
He'd been so good all these years. So careful to not cause trouble. He didn't want the reporters to start talking about how he was destined to end up like his mother. He didn't want the teachers giving him grief about his future more than they already did. He didn't want his family sending him notes that he was an embarrassment and should be ashamed of himself. He didn't want to appear before his mother with bruises he couldn't hide.
As hard as it was, everything was just a bit easier if he kept his head down and let life's various knocks wash over him.
It's a nostalgic feeling, he thinks, as he slowly hauls himself to his feet after being left half unconscious on the bathroom floor.
He hadn't been beaten this badly since his father died.
He supposes it's because children's fists just didn't land the same way as a man's. And Minu Song was the same size as any adult by now.
Two days later, Yu Junghyeok's rebellious period also ends when he realizes he is behaving the same as the thoughtless hooligan edge lord Kim Namwun.
Kim Dokja rereads TWSA from the beginning again, limping for his last month of school, and dodging Minu Song to the point that he stops using the school's restrooms unless he's absolutely certain it's safe.
Rereading is quite amazing. He realizes once more that the story also changes as you change. Yu Junghyeok's rashness that had only days ago inspired him now curdle a sense of shame in his stomach.
He graduates.
He takes a year off to work three different part time jobs.
He makes skipping turns 334-341 on reread a habit that he doesn't overcome for years.
Tiny gingerbread man, two uses.

- If you pick power regain it only works once, obviously. If you pick memory regain, you can share the memory from the cup with someone else by having them drink booze from it too, no limit to shares. Your memory themes, should you choose to use them, are celebration or altered state of mind.

FOR THE CANON UNFAMILIAR, READ THIS
First, ALL OF THESE 'MEMORIES' ARE 'OF READING A BOOK (on a phone)'. They are NOT of actually seeing characters actually doing anything, they are sort of an amalgamation of memories pertaining to specific chapters that one has read probably over a hundred times. So there is no specific "On day x when I read chapter y in location z and felt some way about it" but just the sense/memory of having read something so many times you know almost every detail by heart, separated into specific chapters.
None-the-less you can assume these are each several chapters long (probably 2-5 depending) and that they skip a lot of the 'repetitive' details to get to the 'new shit'. You can also assume each chapter comes with rough overall knowledge of the book, summarized below:
Yu Junghyeok is the protagonist of a book called Three Ways to Survive a Ruined World (/the Apocalypse / TWSA) and he is a regressor; someone whose life restarts from a specific point every time he dies. The book starts with him on his 'Third Turn'(/life), having recently lost all of his allies and his partner and newborn child and being betrayed by a trusted ally.
The setting of TWSA is South Korea, modern day, and recently the Star Stream has come to Earth and creatures called dokkaebi will run scenarios where humans/'incarnations' face deadly challenges for the entertainment of the Constellations.
The Constellations are beings who have obtained god-like status through having legendary stories (I.E. Thor, Achilles, Son Wukong, Yamata no Orochi, Persephone, etc). As endless beings who have concluded their own stories, they seek entertainment and will watch hungergames-like spectacles to keep themselves enriched and find incarnations who they align with and sponsor them to help them survive the Scenarios.
Yu Junghyeok is a regressor trying to survive this endless gauntlet of deadly scenarios, and every time he dies he restarts at step 1 to try again.
He tries and fails many, many, many times.
Typically he has more or less the same pool of allies every turn, but as he is constantly trying to fix previous mistakes, or take revenge for past grievances, or just mix things up to try it from a different angle. Sometimes allies become enemies, or entirely new characters end up in the mix.
And while Yu Junghyeok's core personality is relatively consistent, the man himself lives dramatically different lives depending on what personality he takes into a given Turn, ranging from stalwart support of his allies, to psychopathic murder fugues, to coldly acknowledging nothing and no one.
Below is a rough cast list of characters mentioned below:
- Yu Junghyeok - Our protagonist, standard Hot Dark Haired Webtoon Man, can hold soooo much depression
- Yi Jihye - Teenage Failgirl with sword, thinks of Junghyeok as her master in martial arts.
- Yi Hyeonseong - Solid, not very smart soldier man, extremely loyal defense master doggo.
- Kim Namwun - Edgelord wild teenager loves murder and violence but honestly is also a dumb doggo
- Yi Seolhwa - Steadfast and self aware doctor who keeps the team alive and was Junghyeok's lover/mother of his child
- Shin Yuseung - young determined very Good Girl who is sometimes (not always) adopted into the party
- Anna Croft - 'prophet' who can see the future (sends her memories from previous turns onto her future self) who generally betrays Junghyeok but is also the only person who remembers other Turns
- Selena Kim - Very strong very good lady, friends with Anna Croft but tends to eventually take issue with Anna's ruthlessness

Booker Storm Flashbacks
Age 14
They split up, and the boy called Squid runs down streets, knocks on doors, offers to mow lawns or do odd jobs. He does a delivery to a house a few streets over, moves a pile of bricks across a yard, runs out to buy some groceries for an old woman, and take out for a young woman, and a half a dozen other odd jobs. He does not seem to actually know any of these people, but despite lacking in manners he has reckless charm that seems to endear people to him easily. He haggles in a way that is exactly as annoying as one can be without losing the deal entirely, and as the sun fully sets and he regroups with Spider, he smugly crows about having made 10 more dollars than the other.
The next day, their number has increased by two, as a couple of silver-haired girls who must be sisters join the boys as they head deeper into the city.
At a karaoke place, Angelfish charms the receptionist while Moonjelly sneaks in a cake box covered by a jacket, and Squid and Spider frame her in a way that absolutely would not beget any suspicion in an attentive adult at all. And once the four have the soundproofed room to themselves the festivities can begin in earnest.
They start with a simple birthday song, as it is something of an un-birthday party for the girls (a favor that would be returned to the boys in the fall), among children with no family or Family to celebrate their birthdays for them. The girls dominate the microphone early on, and it's obvious they have extraordinary talent and that if a producing Aria saw footage of this, they would have found themselves adopted in no time.
The cake came from a corner store bakery instead of the grocery store, so it is nicer than what they get for birthdays at the orphanage. But all four of them forgot utensils so it is cut with pens or dug into with fingers and crumbs and frosting find their way onto the furniture and floor despite any best intentions.
When Spider and Squid are handed the mic, neither can match up to the girls. And Angelfish excitedly forces them to practice harmonizing with her while Moonjelly finds songs that fit their limited vocal range. After an hour of practice, they are forced to perform a ballad for the girls' entertainment -- Spider unquestionably has more talent here, which doesn't stop Squid from challenging him to a duel -- and when the girls name Spider the uncontested winner, Squid offers him the last slice of cake which is smashed aggressively into his face.
The receptionist is less charmed when she comes to let the kids know their time is up and finds the teens have gotten chocolate frosting in the furniture and an empty cake box of snuck in food. The frustrated employee (probably only five years their elder) adds fees to their bill which means they can no longer afford the session, and they are at risk of being banned for life until Moonfish is surprised to find extra money in her wallet.
In the end they are spared, and their mood barely tarnished by the near banning. As they leave the karaoke joint they turn in lock step toward home, chatting and teasing mildly roughhousing all the way.
Skill: Constellation Television - Permissions
1. Must have a significant connection (either on Cirrus or be CR he's at least pretty close to)
2. Must not be in their team cabins, or otherwise in a space that maintains their privacy (i.e. during curtain performances, or when using a blessing or skill which would counteract this, wherever producers go)
3. Can only be for short bursts of time (somewhere between a few minutes to a half hour at maximum)
4. I need your OOC permission, both IN GENERAL but also if I'm unsure I'll always ask ad hoc too CUZ CONSENT KEEPS EVERYTHING FUN, but if i think the joke is funnier if I just slam into your thread to surprise you and you seem cool with it, that might happen too (you can always ask I undo it if I was incorrect in my guess)
On top of this he can also send a sort of one way text communication. He does not HAVE to be spying on them to send them the message, but since they can't text BACK he sort of needs to in order to see what their response to the message is.
If you get a text from Booker it'll look like a blue floating screen in midair.
SO IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS IS ME LOOKING FOR YOUR GENERAL PERMISSION TO HAVE BOOKER STORM RANDOMLY SPY ON YOUR CHARACTER
